Next Monday will be the first day for my part time job in the UK, a Thai restaurant. One of my friends recommended me to the boss, a young and pretty Singaporean lady.
For this jobs, I have many complex feeling. One is the language problem, although almost staffs are Asian ppl, I still need to communicate with them in English. That makes me feel nervous so that I think there will be many problems when I doing this job. I need to overcome the nervousness when facing boss, colleagues and customers who speaking Englush.
Another one is the work time. At the begining, I need to work in the evening so that this will be a big problem how can I go home after finishing my duties. It is notorious security in Salford, and unfortunatly the accomodation I live just in this area. Although I can live in a kind friend's house, it is still a probelm for me.
My study maybe be another problem, time is limited when I study Master degree. Although most of time I just waste my time, it is more flexible when I need time to do study or travel in the UK. It's a pity.
Anyway, a new challenge is a new learning. Let's see.
